Motivation...

"Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going."
–Jim Ryun

Trust that this will never been as hard as it feels right now. We will all hit a wall, at one time. I've been so terrified of hitting that wall because I know there goes my motivation... well, here comes the lifestyle change.

So, I challenge you to pick a picture out of what you want your body to look like... BE REALISTIC!

Here's mine:
So, here is Sara Ramirez... from Grey's Anatomy!

Changing who we are, to become who we want to be.

“How does one become a butterfly?" she asked.
"You must want to fly so much that you are willing to give up being a caterpillar."

You must give up your old ways... in order to become the NEW you.

Never be content with stagnant,

Did you know?

Exercise reduces the risk for several diseases including heart disease, adult-onset diabetes, high blood pressure or hypertension, breast cancer, osteoporosis and colon cancer. Exercise may also help prevent, or be effective in treating, some mental illnesses, such as depression.

So get your booty in gear and workout... it could save your life!

Keep on the good path,

Get Well Soon...

Big Get Well Soon to Fit N Fun comedienne,
Sharon...
she'll be in a FABULOUS bedazzled walking cast for 6-8 weeks!
Don't worry Sharon...
we've got a modified Yoga session coming up soon!

Reward yourself...

Rewards – you need to "dangle that carrot in front of the horse." And you need to do it often.

No... I'm not talking about food rewards!

Many people say they already reward themselves. Well don’t... not until you achieve your goals for the week/month. Positive reinforcement works... beating yourself up doesn't.

side note: I'm buying myself something nice for losing my 4 lbs... THANKS HUBBY!

Make yourself the priority,

Jess

Weight Loss Tip #2

Self-talk really does work, whether it is positive or negative. Lift your spirits and prolong your motivation every single day by telling yourself that you can and will succeed.

You may even find that it is helpful to say self-affirming phrases out loud. Your friends and family may think you've gone crazy, but when you find it is quite effective, you won't mind.

Look in the mirror today, and say, "Nothing is going to stop me from meeting my weight loss goal."

Talk pretty to yourself,
Jessica
